kim hyun jong is a very handsome kpop idol but he is no actor, too bad the ratings of his 2nd drama is a failure, i hope the ratings improve coz i think his acting could still improve. let’s give the guy a break..
i think i kinda get the viewers’ mentality.. after all, the Baker King is finishing so it has already secured loyal fans, same with Gumiho that has been going on for a few episodes now (the attraction power of Lee Seung Gi cannot be underestimated). I’ve read somewhere too that the Wed-Fri slot is very difficult.
From a fan’s POV tho, I don’t care about rating either.. but low rating will make his next step as an actor very difficult. Anyway, KHJ loves a good challenge, so I hope he and everyone involved with PK will give an all-out fight to the end.. ❤
They said worse things about Leader in BOF, but that’s tons of people’s favorite drama. I at the meantime, smiled and was very happy watching ep 1 even without eng sub and will enjoy it more with subbing. We will see in a few months how the show did. If Gumiho & the baking show is so great, how come I quit watching? Don’t want to say all the reasons to why other than lost interest.

I still believe that Leader will rise and become better. He arrived in acting when he was already recognized as a very goodlooking endorser, he knows already his way in modelling and is almost perfect in it, he looks good whatever he does. His first love was music and playing the guitar so he belonged to a rock band and was the best bass guitarist. In SS501, his individual performances stood out from the rest because he was a total performer. He is the sexiest dancer, his voice is good although less stronger than his groupmates, he is a like a prince performing on stage. He can sing OSTs and make them very popular. His got this charm that shines from other bands and solo performers too. New fans would notice him right away. He was also already popular as a funny comedian in sitcoms or naturally funny as him in his interviews and shows.I remember pretty well he was the only choice for Yoon Ji Ho and selected first from the other F4 because of WGM. So he is excellent or almost perfect in those activities. Thus when he would ventured into something new, naturally everyone’s expectations would be high. If he had started early when he was still an unknown nobody would have noticed. I know leader will be brave to face these challenges that is why he accepted this role and he will do his best. When KeyEast got him I am sure they wanted to help him in this aspect. He was humble enough from the beginning on what he needs to work on. His life experiences made him strong and he was protected in earlier in his life because he is destined for bigger things. *_*
This hurts me so much because I know HJ is working so hard and there are so many obstacles/misfortunes upon him and the Playful Kiss crew.
1. High expectations because of Itazura na Kiss manga/anime/especially Taiwanese version fans.
2. Their time slot going up against Gumiho and Baker King.
3. HJ’s bad reviews in BOF for his acting.
4. Anti-fans of Jung So Min because of her previous role in Bad Guy.
5. DBSK fans who are only supporting Micky Yoochun in Sungkyunkwan Scandal and swearing off PK.
What bothers me the most is that I never thought his acting was bad. I fell in love with BOF because of him. I fell in love with SS501 because of him. I loved WGM because of him. All the MVs he was in, I never thought he was out of character. I just don’t get how all the bashing on HJ already started in the first episode.
I have all the faith in the world in KHJ & know he’ll only get better. Its just 1 episode & I know the ratings will go up. KHJ fighting!
we’re finished watching MK’s 2nd episode and we really enjoyed it! i think khj is improve his acting and jsm is great on her character. all of them are good. i hope tonight will be a good rating..it’s okay if they are bashing leader as long as it can help him to make it on stardom..we’re waiting for the rating result tonight..i pray GOD will blessed khj and jsm for their MK drama..fighting!
